Enrichment activities experienced by students with high abilities/giftedness

ABSTRACT Students with high abilities/giftedness stand out for their superior intelligence or special talent in different areas of knowledge, requiring specialized care. Enrichment activities are educational alternatives planned to serve this public. The aim research was describe the enrichment experienced by students abilities/giftedness, based on reports themselves, families, and teachers. Questionnaires specific protocols were developed applied each group informants. As a result, it found that attended few activities, most which available laboratories university. They often consisted exploratory without considering students’ interest abilities, not reaching type II III enrichments, according from all segments.
